An Early (bottoming) signal fires when three oversold indicators — RSI, the fast stochastic, and MACD — bottom together in a tight cluster. It becomes Confirmed when the MACD confirms the turn within a short window, while momentum is still depressed. Every admitted stock carries a category. Quality names passed the screener's point-in-time fundamental health checks. Junk names did not — they are admitted only on a stricter size basis. US exchange-listed stocks only (no OTC), with minimum price and liquidity requirements. Market cap and fundamentals are judged on the SEC filings available at the signal date — never on today's numbers. Quality signals can also earn a bottom-evidence badge, graded at the trigger: WASHOUT, CAPITULATION, and ★ EXHAUSTION mark progressively stronger evidence that the selling is done. In the 2026 backfill the ladder separated cleanly — Washout names finished positive 72% of the time (mean +13%), Capitulation 76% (+20%), Exhaustion 84% (+24%), against 60% (+5%) for confirmed signals overall. The badges rank what deserves a closer look first; they never admit or exclude a stock, and Junk names earn none. The evidence tests behind each badge are part of the member methodology.
